Meet Sukhi Kaur, Content Strategist
Hi I’m Sukhi, I am thrilled to be joining the Ajooni team. I have come on board as a Content Strategist and support to Director, Kam Lall. I come from a background in Marketing and Fashion spanning nearly 25 years, starting off on the heady streets of Savile Row, Mayfair.
My passion for marketing first ignited back in college, I was always customising clothes and creating pieces of art. I had created so many pieces and was overwhelmed with interest, I eventually thought why not sell them? I had coined my first marketing campaign, canvassing my own customised clothing brand! And boy did I enjoy it! My passion for fashion and marketing had begun. Fast forward a few years, I find myself meeting the most incredible man and father to my son. I settled away from the big smoke to the leafy suburbs, nestled beautifully in the county of Hertfordshire. I take a back seat and embark on the most rewarding journey yet; Motherhood! But the passion is still there.
I was introduced to Kam (via my incredible man) and followed his journey with Ajooni over the last 7 years. Every facet and aspect of this fabulous conceptual company hit a high note. From the variety of content writing to his ethos around spiritualisation and mindfulness. There wasn’t a single aspect of his vision that did not resonate. So, to the present day I find myself working within Ajooni supporting director and founder Kam Lall to deliver his vision.
So, what do I do?
I am a marketing specialist, with expertise covering content writing, digital marketing, events, marketing collateral creation and project managing campaigns. I have directed external agencies and vendors on collaborative aims to drive sales and brand awareness.
My skill set is focused around; Developing content strategies to convey a story that will resonate with the chosen audience across a multichannel structure. Managing a project from conception to delivery and the expectations of the clients in line with budgets and timeframes. Finally, reporting on the success of the strategy or campaign and evaluation of the performance highlighting lessons learnt for future strategies.
My experience spans across varied fields from high end couture fashion, classic cars, finance right through to the charity sector and I have loved each one.
What would I be doing if I was not doing this?
If I was not doing this wonderful role with Ajooni, I would have explored the counselling route and would have specialised in child psychology and development alongside my interest in mindfulness.
What to look out for?
My alternative approach to creative writing and experience in luxury branding, grounded with my corporate edge and holistic approach to mindfulness.
